Edward Hogg
Edward Hogg es el Director responsable del portafolio de Sistemas Energéticos Globales de Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, CIFF, (Fundación del Fondo de Inversión para la Infancia), que incluye el trabajo global de la organización en petróleo y gas, metano, industria pesada y el sector eléctrico, así como la coordinación geográfica para Europa y México.
Antes de integrarse a CIFF en 2022, ocupó diversos cargos en el gobierno del Reino Unido, donde contribuyó a la creación del Comité de Cambio Climático, la Alianza para el Abandono del Carbón y la primera Estrategia de Finanzas Verdes del Reino Unido. También se desempeñó como Jefe de Gabinete de dos Ministros de Cambio Climático, trabajó en Octopus Renewables y encabezó el programa de cambio climático del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores británico en Argentina durante tres años.
Es maestro en Política, Filosofía y Economía por la Universidad de Oxford y cuenta con un MBA por el Imperial College.
Edward Hogg
Edward Hogg is the Director responsible for the Global Energy Systems portfolio at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), which includes the organization’s global work in oil and gas, methane, heavy industry, and the electricity sector, as well as geographic coordination for Europe and Mexico.
Before joining CIFF in 2022, he held various positions in the UK government, where he contributed to the creation of the Climate Change Committee, the Coal Plotting Alliance, and the UK’s first Green Finance Strategy. He also served as Chief of Staff to two Climate Change Ministers, worked at Octopus Renewables, and led the UK Foreign Office’s climate change program in Argentina for three years.
He holds a Master’s degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Oxford and an MBA from Imperial College London.
