Alejandra Rabasa Salinas
Maestra en Ciencias de la Sostenibilidad por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México y Licenciada en Derecho por la Universidad Iberoamericana, con una especualidad en Razonamiento Probatorio por la Universitat de Girona. dos diplomados por la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación.
Fue asesora jurídica del subsecretario de Planeación y Política Ambiental de la SEMARNAT y directora de Asuntos Jurídicos de la Comisión Nacional de Áreas Naturales Protegidas. Tambien fue directora del Programa de Estudios Judiciales y Medio Ambiente en el Environmental Law Institute en Washington DC y es profesora de la asignatura de Derecho Ambiental en el Centro de Investigacion y Docencia Economica (Cide). Es presidenta del Centro Interdisciplinario de Biodiversidad y Ambiente (CeIBA A.C) e investigadora responsable de la agenda de justicia ambiental y climatica en el Centro de Estudios Constitucionales de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nacion. Temas de mayor interés: Derecho y justicia ambiental y climatica; derechos humanos y medio ambiente; evidencia cientifica y litigio ambiental y climatico.
Alejandra Rabasa Salinas
Master of Science in Sustainability from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and Bachelor of Laws from the Ibero-American University, with a specialization in Evidentiary Reasoning from the University of Girona. She also holds two diplomas from the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.
She was legal advisor to the Undersecretary of Planning and Environmental Policy at SEMARNAT (Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources) and Director of Legal Affairs at the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas. She was also Director of the Judicial and Environmental Studies Program at the Environmental Law Institute in Washington, D.C., and is a professor of Environmental Law at the Center for Economic Research and Teaching (CIDE). She is President of the Interdisciplinary Center for Biodiversity and Environment (CeIBA A.C.) and lead researcher on the environmental and climate justice agenda at the Center for Constitutional Studies of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation. Her areas of interest include: environmental and climate law and justice; human rights and the environment. scientific evidence and environmental and climate litigation.
