Roadmap for climate civil society in Latin America and the Caribbean toward the Independent Global Stocktake (iGST)

This paper, sponsored by ClimateWorks Foundation, aims to guide climate civil society in Latin America and the Caribbean toward engagement with the iGST. Through interviews, surveys, and analysis, key conditions, challenges, and opportunities were identified. It advocates for the formation of an epistemic community to enhance involvement and seize opportunities. The paper outlines strategies for a participatory, inclusive approach to incorporate a Latin American perspective into the global climate discourse, fostering increased ambition, transparency, and accountability in climate action.
